Abstract

|
|
Primary choriocarcinoma of the ovary may be gestational or non gestational. The former type usually arises from ovarian pregnancy, and the latter from a teratoma or embryonal rest. It has been estimated that the chances of its arising primarily in the ovary is one in 392 million. We present a case of primary choriocarcinoma of the ovary and the literatures are briefly reviewed.
